Care Packages

So I've been asked by a handful of people if I'll be doing care packages again this year.  If you do have some spare cash to spread around, I would generally prefer that you make a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project through our website.  However, I do appreciate that some people love and enjoy the personal touch that comes with care packages.  Here's a list of post-Southern California locations we can accept care packages at, along with a time range you should mail your package in.  Listed below is also a rough list of the sorts of things we'd love to receive and can make the most use of.  You do not have to send everything on here and you are more than welcome to send additional items if you wish, this is only a list of recommendations.

Be sure to include one of our names on the address, e.g.  John Rivera or Tyler Blauvelt c/o...

Also, be sure to send either myself or Tyler an email of the location you'd like to claim so we can hop on here when we get a chance and cross it out to help avoid receiving multiple care packages at the same locations.

Thank you for your interest!

Thank You!

This will just be a short post, considering its already 11:30 and I'm still messing with meal plans, trying to sell my bed on craigslist, and checking and double-checking my gear.

I really just wanted to say thanks to our first several donors. You are fantastic! You inspire us! Your initial donations have opened my eyes to the potential of how much we might be able to raise in the next six months. With more people like you supporting us along the way, this adventure will surely be a great thing for the Wounded Warrior Project and all the people it assists.

Only a few more weeks to go before we set foot on the PCT in Southern California with our eyes on Canada.   Woohoo!

Until next post....
-Tyler (trail name pending)
